This Whalebird komboucha blew my mind. I went in thinking that I might only like 2 of the 4 flavors because originally I didn't really know what Purple Rain was going to be like... Will it taste purple. .. What am I getting into here? But it was refreshing with the right amount of sweet and fermenty bite.And then, with the Dry Hopped Pampalmousse, I was convinced I would have to give away because any time I see the word 'hops' I make a face of bitter disgust imagining how much I dislike beer... BUT it ended up being my FAVORITE flavor along side Manguava! Of course I expected to love the Manguava! With a name like Manguava how could it go wrong? Every sip was amazing with the full flavor of the guava, refreshing with every sip. I was actually sad when I got to the bottom of that can.Then there's the Lavender Lemonade that I felt pretty confident in knowing that I'd like it, and don't get me wrong, I did like it, but that Dry Hopped and that Purple Rain just knocked the batch out of the water.I love komboucha and I'm pretty picky with flavors because as much as I enjoy the health benefits of it, I still want it tasty enough to be worth the swigs. Whalebird was impressive! Not to mention their packaging in sleek cans looks clean and cool. Will be enjoy these again!Best Kombucha I could ask for. A little surprised that Kombucha could ship so well, especially with Amazon. I typcally get this stuff from a few local grocery stores, when they have it. Good to know I can always get it through Amazon! This is my favorite Kombucha so far. Drinkable flavors, cool cans, and a great alternative to beer in the evenings.Delicious Kombucha! I am a (self-titled) kombucha connoisseur and made my own for a few years. After moving to a new house with a much smaller kitchen I no longer have space/time/etc to make my own and Whalebird has been my go-to kombucha since. Great flavor options too - Lavender is my favorite. Beautiful cans as well. All around a great brand, great taste, would recommend!Halfway through the case, it’s so refreshing. Love the Lavender Lemonade. Shared it with some friends used to homemade Kombucha. Both were impressed with its soothing blend of flavors; perfect choice for refreshment after a long day’s work. Loved the cans too; the flavor diagram on the side was a nice touch.This is one of the best Kombucha brands I've tried, and I've tried many! I loved all the flavors in this pack. Also was happy to see that all the packaging was recyclable.Great flavors in the variety pack! This kombucha is not too aggressive and is a refreshing pick me up. I'll definitely be ordering again.I met Mike by pure coincidence. My wife and I were hiking back from Brainerd Lake in the Eastern Sierras, CA. and came across 2 hikers heading up to the lake fairly late in the evening. We exchanged a few words and learned they still had no place to camp for the night. It was getting as little late so we gave them our headlamps to make sure they could make it safely back down from the mountain if darkness came upon the unprepared and daring hikers (no map, no daypack, no jacket, nothing but a bottle of water on an 8 mile hike in the Eastern Sierras!) earlier than they planned... We told them to come find us at our campsite after their hike if they still need a place to camp.A couple hours later Mike and his friend (who never actually got to Brainerd lake but rather they confused a leeches-infested swamp for the beautiful lake! LOL!) drove by our campsite to return the headlamps (honest folks!) and since the campground was full we invited them to pitch their tent in our campsite next to our Eurovan camper.That resulted in great conversation by the campfire, a lesson on Kombucha brewing, and a box of Whalebird kombucha delivered to my door a few weeks later!I am impressed, highly impressed! I've tried kombucha before, home brewed (I work with Asian co-workers who brew their own kombucha, and there's always some type of kombucha in our break lounge) and commercially brewed, but never as great tasting as this one! The box of goodness came with four different flavors, all of them absolutely delicious. With flavors ranging from fruity (like the Manguava, a delicious and perfectly well balanced blend of Mango, Guava & Hibiscus), to floral (my wife's favorite, Lavender Lemonade), herbaceous / earthy (Purple Rain) & citrus (Dry Hopped Pamplemousse).It was packed in an Uber-cool box with pre-cut cardboard sunglasses with the little Whalebird logo etched on the side... Nice touch!I would most definitely recommended this product! Mike and his team of kombucha experts have come up with a winning formula and excellent product.Thanks Mike! If you come across us again in another outdoor adventure feel free to pitch your tent next to our van, and come sit by the fire!I have been dabbling in the kombucha game for a while now, flip flopping between what I buy and have not locked down a favorite until now. I saw this new company and figured I would give it a shot and am very happy I did. If you like kombucha, this is a must. If you don't like kombucha, this will convert you. 5 stars for sure!
