As far as the bars go, they are delicious!! They are seriously the best protein bars in my opinion because they are both healthy and taste great! Compare the texture to a Kit Kat bar. Of course they don't taste EXACTLY like a candy bar, but that's because they aren't which is why I like them. Lots of protein bars out there have a large enough amount of carbs and sugars, that market themselves as healthy, but you could eat a Snickers and have the same effect. So far the lowest carb and sugar bars I can find. Wish it had more protein (like maybe 30g) but I'll still continue to purchase them and just supplement elsewhere.Not 5 stars because they are very expensive (I feel like they could be a little less and more competitively priced, but then again they are the best I've found so maybe you get what you pay for.Be advised THE BARS THAT ARE PICTURED ARE NOT UNNECESSARILY THE BARS YOU WILL RECEIVE. I purchased these specifically because I wanted to try the mint chocolate, but sadly none came in my order. After reviewing the details I read that it depends on availability. Fair enough, I didn't read the details before purchasing. I take responsibility and am still satisfied with my purchase. Hence 4 stars though. I think chocolate mint was the only 1 I didn't getWhen I first tried these, I thought the flavor was decent, for a low carb energy bar. The problem was, as I chewed it, the 'chocolate' coating would start sticking to parts of my mouth. The best comparison would be like peanut butter, but stiffer. Then the wafer part would break up in my mouth, with no moisture to mix with it. After a bite or two, I would need a drink, to relieve the dry mouth.Overall they aren't bad, but I don't plan to buy againI've been addicted to Power Crunch bars for YEARS now (10?). I used to buy gobs of them at Trader Joe's, and have also found a more limited supply at Raleys and Walmart, but sadly all three outlets seem to be winding down on even selling these bars.In my opinion, these are THE BEST tasting, textured protein bar available with little to no sugar. I LOVE the variety of flavors they come in, and have resorted to buying whole boxes of these at Amazon now. On several occasions, I've gotten the "variety pack". What a disappointment each and every time. AUGH!It's like these are the leftovers on the shelf way past their expiration date. They arrive chucked in a plastic bag like yesterday's garbage. Naturally, they're completely busted up and almost pulverized in their wrappers! Infuriating! I end up snipping off the end and pouring the contents into a bowl to eat with a spoon. Completely unsatisfying. I've found that the strawberry flavored bar is really stale, and some of the other bars are faded in color.I get that someone's making 25-cents per bar selling these, but they need to go in a dumpster. I just hope that Power Crunch will never discontinue the wide range of flavors cuz they are all FABULOUS! I've tried many other brands of protein bar, but these are SO GOOD you'll swear they can't be that healthy (like a Seinfeld fat-free yogurt).Very tasty and good. Will order again. Not knowing what kind of food to expect, I brought these bars with me and was great supplements for protein and easy to travel with. Love the flavors!! Definitely recommend to those who never tried before.I've bought these a few times now to see if I simply got a batch that was abused during shipping, but they both turned out this way. They taste great, but I have to eat them over a garbage can because they crumble to pieces while you eat them. I think most people want a bar they can eat in the car or on the go, and I wouldn't want to try that with these bars.
