I just tried them, and they don’t work. There is no battery life. Unfortunately it is past the return date. Such a wasteThe batteries work great, but part of the selling point is that they are recyclable. When I went to recycle them, I found out you need to purchase a certain amount of go green recyclable products before they will send you a free mailing envelope. Since I was switching to rechargeable batteries, buying more didn't make sense, so I wasn't able to recycle them. If you are planning on buying go green stuff for a while, and don't mind storing you used stuff for a while, then this may be a great option, but if not then there are better alternatives.I'm about halfway through the package and find these batteries seem to last about 1/2-3/4 of the time the Samsclub batteries do in my television remote. I've also had 2 dead batteries straight out of the package. Probably an ok value for the money, but I won't be purchasing them again.I bought in quantity to get a better price-per-battery and to have some on-hand for future replacements. What I received were batteries that all expire in a year. I do not use batteries that fast. So, if you plan on using all the batteries very soon, they might work for you. I will note that I bought some go green batteries (AAs) a few months ago from another amazon seller and they all had over three years shelf-life remaining.UPDATE (Nov. 2015) On Oct. 5, 2015 I put a set of these in my remote. Today, because the remote was erratic, I opened it to find one of the--unexpired--batteries had leaked. Luckily I didn't lose the remote. The remaining, unopened sets of batteries are going right to recycling. These arrived packaged in 4-packs, rather than as pictured. Purchased in Dec of 2014, the "best by" date on each pack is Dec 2015-- fairly close for batteries. Two of the packages had batteries that leaked all over. From the looks of them they leaked long before they shipped. So someone looked at these bad batteries and tossed them into the bubble-envelope anyway, knowing they were bad. Given that we know 1/4 of the batteries are bad just by looking at them, I wouldn't be surprised if they're all faulty, and I'm not sure I want to risk them leaking in my devices. I seemingly got these for a bargain at less than five bucks, but I did not even get what I paid for.Not Duracell, but it may depend on the application. I have found , for example, the Eveready works well for toys, or things that require short bursts of power. Duracell generally works very well for anything, but excels when used for items in long service (thermostats, smoke detectors, clocks, etc.). Go Green has a balance in between. If you want to feel good and maybe spend less, up-front anyway, this is a decent product. In one package found 2 dead batteries and in the other 3 dead batteries. Probably still a decent deal.I use these batteries in an insulin pump. They last practically no time compared to the Energizers I have used in the past. I'm sure I am not saving any money considering how fast I have to change these batteries compared to the Energizers.
