I perused the lengthy listing of CR2032 battery reviews before deciding to spend the extra cash.. They can be purchased at anywhere from highs near $2.75 ea in singles to as little as $0.33 or less by the 100's. The major complaint was that they were not high quality batteries (about the only measure you can make directly is the open circuit voltage "out of the box"). Of course life-in-application is the other measure, only detectable after it's demise. I suppose the expiration date might be another guide, but is of less use generally unless you're planning on keeping them around a long time. Even at this $1.66 ea including shipping, they still are cheaper than they would be in my local grocer. j[Edit: hmm, as soon as I say they're worth a buck or so extra, they raise the price 25%!!.. I can buy them at Kroger's now at the price they're charging and only have to get 2 at a time.. sheesh... ya just can't be nice!)]Out of the box, these ranked quite high with voltages of about 3.25V (based on my research the max would be about 3.3) Their expiration date was 2022 as advertised. As I only have one device My Weigh Elite Series Bathroom Body Weight Scale - 400 lb which uses these, I had little use in stockpiling batteries. The last two lasted about 18 months. I will post back as to the longevity of these batteries as I go through them. They were shipped promptly (even on Presidents' Day.. a normal holiday). They were with another item I ordered and packed in a separate envelope.All-in-all I'm happy with this item and, based on the ultimate life-in-use, I'll probably be buying them again.
