I wanted something to hold batteries in my "electronics" ditty bag in our teardrop trailer, where storage space is always at a premium. I used to keep my batteries separated by size in small ziploc bags but I've been on the lookout for a heavier-duty plastic version. The exceed my exceptions - heavy duty, nice molding, batteries slide in and out easily, terminal ends are protected and made in the USA. We use AAA batteries the most (old mp3 player, flashlights, etc) but batteries always seem to run out when we're boondocking so I ended up buying holders for AA (personal fans), C (bug zapper), D (lantern), and 9-volt (weather radio). I also bought another set for our battery drawer.I'd seen YouTube videos where people who go camping, bushcraft, hunting, etc. use them to store spare batteries.I bought two to keep spare batteries for my headlamp. I'm happy to say that they work well, they seem pretty durable, and they are worth the price. Thumbs up!This battery storage keeps your batteries organized and save from contacts touching each other. It appears very durable and the batteries can be removed fairly easily.I really like this product. A great design and now I don't have to worry about throwing batteries into my gear bag.I came back to buy more of these and while I'm here I figured I'd write a review.With 3 kids we go through AA and AAA batteries quickly - even faster when you throw in my battery-hungry camera flash (I constantly use AAA batteries in dance classes to power wireless microphones so used to have a tonne of batteries everywhere and never being able to find a charged one when i need it.Along came this caddy and it is such a simple yet brilliant idea. holding 6 batteries at a time means i only need one or two of these to have a supply for microphones which last me for agesI have a simple way of organising them, when they are discharged i turn them upside down so i can instantly see which are charged and which need charging which saves an enormous amount of time before a shoot trying to work out which need charging (previously i gave up and just recharged all of them which takes a considerable amount of wasted time)In short I love these things, I have about 3 of these and would easily recommend them to everyoneEdit(03/06/14) corrected titleGood bit of kit to keep batterys stored, not sold with batterysFlimsy product. Worth testing items in shop before considering purchase againGoods as described and most usefulSuch a simple idea, but really handy for keeping your batteries together. Holds the batteries securely, but easily 'poked out' from the bottom. Does exactly what it says on the tin really.
